Question LT1 to a Carb

Well I have about had it with my fuel injection
Does any one know where you can buy a LT1 Carb Conversion kit and get rid of the ECM?
Give me some gauges and a 650 with 4 barrels and I will be happy.

GMPP part # 24502592 for the intake, you will need a regular(gen 1) distributor, a carb, and throttle cable bracket

if you have a 94+ A4 trans, you need a aftermarket controller or a different trans

Re: LT1 to a Carb

I have no idea, but can't you use the stock ignition on it? In my cousin's blazer his injectors get the signal to ingauge from the distributor. So he could put a carb on that and still use his distr in his truck it would just send a signal to "no where" for the injectors and the SES light would prob be on.

Doesnt the Camaro ECM distr control the injectors aswell? Than he would only need a conversion intake and a carb?

Re: LT1 to a Carb

on LT1s, the opti (distributor) sends signals to the ECM/PCM, and the ECM/PCM controls ignition and fueling

no direct connection/control between the dist. and ICM/coil(other the the coil wire/secondary ignition)
