LT1 Cam

I'm looking to put a cam and heads on my 94 transam LT1 auto, I spoke with Lloyd Elliot and he recommends 219/227 .603/.587 112 LSA cam Because I would prefer not to change my stall, does anyone have any other suggestions for cam size with stock stall? And I'm also trying to decide between le1 and le2 heads, can someone help steer me in the right direction

Re: LT1 Cam

If that is what Lloyd recommends that is what I would follow from what I know he knows his stuff. Tick Performance is another place to go. But each place will be little different cause they have their own way of doing events. But bigger cams are not always the way to go to get big power. Its when they happen and how much. I know Tick they spec'ed my new cam for turbo and it was way smaller than you think and would support 1000hp and be able to drive it and get good mpg's too. He told me a lot of cams out there are way to big for what they need.

Re: LT1 Cam

You really won't be able to run anything with the stock converter (maybe hotcam). I hated HATED daily driving my GM847 with a stall which is why I ended up going to M6.

Re: LT1 Cam

I would get the stall over the cam, the Yank SS 3600 works wonders.
