Just screw a breather in there, no biggie

Not much left. We think a rod broke. Took another with it and a couple pistons. Crank is junk. And massive chunks out of the block. There were peices of the pistons in the intake.

How competitive is a LT1 in asphalt circle track? I would imagine it would be Gen I SBC dominated like the dirt track stuff.

Any idea why it blew up? Are you atleast running an accusump on it to try to keep the motor alive?

90% of the time rod failure is not the actual root cause of the problem, you need to look really carefully at your other parts to come to an accurate conclusion once you have the motor torn down.

It's really hard to tell what let loose. I didn't get it out of gear quick enough and it kept spinnin. Looks like a blender in the oil pan. It was basically stock, due to the rules. With a custom cam for higher RPM.

I am in PA. Yeah, shipping a block sucks with the weight!
