Well, I got to finally fire my motor in the car tonight. Had the relocation bracket on and everything is PERFECT. I couldnt have asked for it to work better. NO SLIPPAGE AT ALL on the belt, and believe me I had it all thru the RPM levels. Should have it driveable Friday and I will street test it. Here are some pictures of it in the car, as well as on the motor before I put it in the car. For the wiring, we extended the wires to route around the back of the intake, and had no troubles doing it. Just wanted to let you all know it works and it works well. I know a few of you were sceptical about it and the belt routing and wiring. I am here to say that a total dumbass could do this without a problem.

Correct, taller valve covers, cleaner more balanced appearance. Abiliity to adjust the valve lash without taking apart the alternator setup, and no grinding of the alternator case or valve covers required. And this is the ONLY ONE that lets you keep all of the factory components, making AC a viable option for those guys who dont want to lose it.

 

Finally got to drive the damn thing yesterday. Other then cutting a heater hose because I didnt see it touching, my fault, this thing had no problems. Voltage was excellent, no slippage, no noise, and no squeals. Everything is as it should be, and it looks cool Anyway, I will fix the hose tonight and take it for a long drive. I dont forsee any problems, just thought you guys might like to know that it has been problem free.

Truthfully, the guys who made it popped out a few when it was first done. Depending on how well they sell will depend on whether or not they keep up on it. But they are ready to go, and made right now. I believe they are just needing the final finish to ship them.

Seems you would lose a few horses from the longer belt and extra pulley. Its probably minor, but I don't see the alternators location as a big deal.

 

i could see it being a problem for those with a solid roller set up, this is a very helpfull solution for that. I could also imagine that those that dessire to dress up the engine for a show type car would benifit as well.
With the vette style fuel rail covers and the alternator relocated, I think the result would be a pretty nice and clean looking engine bay; a rare thing for LT1 f-bodies i think.

 

Yea, I can understand the meaning for it, personally i'd go with vette accessories (I know this is not a cheap alternative) as they just mount to the drivers side but I don't know if they can still run high valve covers or not.
