I am looking at this car and the guy says that new ignition control moodule is bad and thats why the car won't turn over. i haven't physically looked at this car yet but am wandering if this is right. he says the car won't even turn over until you get the module. i thought they should still turn over correct. the car is a 95 and has 168,000 miles.

It should still turn over. The starter is connected directly to the battery.
It just won't run with a bad ICM. |
If it doesn't turn over and the starter is good/has power than the engine is probably hydrolocked or damaged in some way. You can also try turning the crank pulley in the front manually using a long wrench/socket and see if it will budge. If it does, it could just be the starter/battery.

so if i was to go over there and turn the crank with a wrench would i need to take anythjing off or could i just put the wrench on the crank?

I don't remember what size head the stock bolt has. |
