I am puzzled.my goal is to spank one of these, one was bullying my little honda work car the other day.I am putting mid macs on.also maybe a hotcam kit.lmk your thoughts. thanks

The three valves are due to having two intake valves.
At the local track they generally run 14.5's or 14.2's stock with an auto. Of course most LT-1's at my track are generally that slow too... I don't know what those boys are doing to their cars, but they were mortified by my stock LT-1 putting down 13.5's... lol The LS-1's that rode up there on a trailer were in the low 12's! hahaha, I don't know- bad track prep I am guessing?
Be careful though, with dealer supplied bolt ons, a driver and some sticky tires they can break into the upper 12's. And with headers and mid pipe I bet they would be good for mid 12s. They take to bolt ons and traction VERY well.
