LT header question...u guys are prolly tired of this

Ok i have a set of SLP shortie header coated brand new and have not installed them yet...i am having second thoughts right now about putting them in...
i thinki would like to run some LTs with highlow cat Y-pipe and LM exhaust until i have money to run a true dual settup i have the Loudmouth

what would be some nice LTs to go with that dont make me lose too much clearance?
also want them coated

it seems Jet Hots are in popularity....

also do all LTs sound the same? or does it matter on exhaust ?
would i need reprogramming for the computer for LTs?

I'd like to know some of those answers too. I've searched through past threads a lot for headers but I think the only, or at least the easiest, way to know what you need to know is to call the store.

well what i am thinking is Hooker LTs coiated with y-pipe/cats and GMMG exhauts what do u guys think....kind expensive but i am gonna do i tlol

i heard a few clips of GMMG on LS1 cars and i love it...the Loudmouth also sounds a tad better on LS1 cars tho

EDIT: hey guys one thing i would like to apologize for all the retarded questions without thinkinh of teh simplicity of things....im just soo frustrated with the way my car sounds..i thought it was awesome at first but now i think it suxs lol....

when i meant simplicity of things is what if i put a GMMG type chambered myffler in place of my resognator....how owuld that sound and would it sound any good??

thanks you guy very much for putting up with my bull

I'd say do it the right way the first time. If you have some inclinations towards longtubes, you'll regret having to do the job twice. That's basically what has happened to me. I really like my slp shorties with loudmouth, but now I want longtubes which will mean I'll have to do something about my catback. Even if you have to wait for the money to come around.

I'd look into the pacesetters, do a search on them. Based on the pricing, install ease, and quality, from board member's experiences, that's what i would do. With x pipe to duals out the back. I just say that because it seems like you have the money for a gmmg.

well you can get brand new pacesetter long tubes that are ceramic coated for $399 now. i was hoping to spend a good bit less than that for some shorties. let me know what you are willing to take for them.

Me again ...

For the Y-Pipe with the cats, I'd just have one fabbed up, it'll be a better fit and most likely be cheaper as well. There are a bunch of local guys who could fab that y-pipe up, as long as you had the headers and Cat-back, buy the small high-flow cats, and you're good to go.

Or you can be like me... who needs any stinking cats

I will be rolling to meets, my car is outta comission until I get my 12-bolt... (~4 weeks) I'm bummed, but not much I can do...

I could be comming to some meets sooner, depends when my GF gets her new car (probably this week, '04 G35 Coupe)... and if I can con her to go hang out for the night...
