LT Header install, Need some HELP!!

installing a used set of FLP longtubes w/ highflow cats. Ran into a few issues.

1.) The biggest issue is the oil filter. It wont clear driver side header. We took it off to install the header and it wont fit back on because it wont clear the header. Dunno what to do????

2.) Need longer o2 sensors

3.) Smog pump hookups on top of headers dont fit the thread of the connector to the hoses, too skinny.

I'm pretty sure an oil filter relocation kit would fix that issue!!

Re: LT Header install, Need some HELP!!

I don't think a relocation kit is the best idea because it uses rubber tubes, that would be sitting right next to headers.

I'm going to try removing the oil cooler if its not removed already

i also found this, Corvette oil filter spacer LT1 92 93 94 95 96 | eBay

would it work with my camaro? if so would it clear my headers?

What oil filter type and size are you using? I'm using an ACDelco PF454(I think that's the numbers for it...I will verify when I get home today). Clears my long tubes with no issues. The filter is a little shorter than "standard".

You can see it to the left of the tubes here....

Yep the PF454 is a short filter, that's what I use as well. I think the tall version of it was the PF1218 iirc.
