LT-4 timing chain

Is the lt4 timing chain a single roller design?? I am in the middle of my cam swap and the chain i just pulled off was a double roller, and obviously the sprokets are about twice as thick as the lt4 chain and sprockets that i just got. I would assume that this is the stock chain in my motor and it is double roller design...what the hell. I just want to make sure that the lt4 was a single roller, and just to calm my nerves...if i am making about 350rwhp, the lt4 will hold up fine, right??

thanks guys,
trav

The stock timing chain is a flat link type, not a roller.

The LT4 chain is a single roller, but IMO, it is not very strong.

I would use either the stock timing set or the extreme duty timing set.

after comparing that lt4 to the chain i just pulled out of there, i wouldnt doubt it if i had the extreme duty already in there. I think i am gonna send the lt4 back to thunderracing.com and see if they can credit me towards another extreme duty. Thanks for the fast reply.

No problem. Just to clarify, the extreme duty chain is a single roller, but much larger than the LT4 chain.
