ls7 lifters

i know you can install ls1 lifters in an lt1 motor. I also know you can install ls7 lifters in an ls1. So my question is, when i upgrade my vavle train should i install ls7 lifters into my motor? i know there good for over 7,000 rpms and are pretty cheap.

I can't answer as far as the ls7 ones, but I know that the lifters are the one thing in the valvetrain that if I had to cut corners that would be it.

What are you going to run? Lots of us are on stockers still.

I'm pretty sure the LS7 uses a set of special offset lifters...so I wouldn't assume they will work.

i know they drop right in into an ls1 without any modification, i just did the install over the weekend on my friends. i understand the lifters aren't the weakest point on the motor but i dont want to cut corniers on anything. i was just going to upgrade to 1.6 rockers and stronger pushrods and was thinking maybe i should go ahead and replace the lifters anyway.
