LS1 T56 swap to LT1

Can a LS1 T56 transmission be a bolt on swap to a LT1 bell housing?

No and you really dont want to do that considering the LS1 tranny after I believe 1998 have some problems with reliability.

The LS1 tranny won't work with the LT1. The belhousing is different as is the length and splines of the input shaft.
