has any one put the exhaust off a ls1 car onto a lt1 car using the slp adaptor kit for loudmouth?

You don't even need the adapter kit! I just sawsalled the s-bend out of the stock exhaust on my brothers '95 Z28 and grinded it down a little...put a clamp on it and it doesn't leak at all! Give it a try! He is using a Loudmouth off a LS1 btw!

 

I used a LS1 GMMG on my 94 LT1. It took a bit of fabrication but worked in the end. Of course its easier to adapt with LT's and an ORY. Good Luck.

why were u looking at an exhaust that is made for an ls1 and not an lt1 cauze most companies make em for both

 

Probably the same reason I did. I couldnt help but jump on saving over $350 on a slightly used LS1 GMMG.

Any moderately good exhaust shop should make it work. I believe all youd really need is whats called and S-pipe to button it all up. SLP makes them. If Im not mistaken the LS1 systems are pretty much the same as the 96-97 so speaking from experience in that right.. youd need an S-pipe unless of course you have LTs and y-pipe.
