yea my post's are ignorant, why? cause I speak from experience

For one nice insult. I asked you a simple question then you get mad when someone calls you out on one of your threads. You are right you have all the experience in the world. Easy there junior. Maybe you should work on a race car team.

How many of you fools talkin $hit have ACTUALLY HAD BOTH???

It is funny how a person with so much experience forgot to cut the dowel pin to proper lenght, lol. Oh yeah btw I work on my own stuff.

To injectedSS, buddie grow up, for everyone read:

I had major oil burning problems, I didn't really pay attention to that & though the stumbles were something else, well I'd get stumbles all over the place, big time misfires! I put a digital 6 ignition, crane ignition, MSD coil etc.. same thing! I put the LTCC on & the problem went away, although I found out later my plugs were full of oil.

Point is, the LTCC is that much stronger that even with oil all over the plugs it managed to fire every single plug every single time!

PS. I used 1 stock wire & cut it up into 8 ls1 wires thats all!

Also, you'll never have wire burning problems, & you see them right there infront of you, wires are also 1/20th the size, mine are 3 inches long each.

I remember reading about a problem with the cam dowel pin or whatever that is called... InjectedSS is there a way you can post a link where you explain it wasnt the opty itself?? I read that link posted by Injuneer and It links me to one of your postings but it does not explain it wasnt the opty, only that it was chewed up. Perhaps the post its imcomplete. Reading it off one of your posts would clear things up unless somehow got misteriously deleted that is.

Also I speak from my experience too... My car has now over 140k miles and still running with the original Opty unit. Now how is that for staying power?? Even if it crapps out today I would still feel My opty did its part. The only other Cap and Rotor I have seen last that long was my Ex g/fs hondas distribuitor cap and it kicked the bucket at somewhere in the 120kmiles range.

I must admit people have told of opty problems and bad reliability however I cannot put the opty down cause mine in hangin in there like a hungry baby to a hot tee tee

So in other words InjectedSS in a way I am with you on this one however if you post a link that clear things up perhaps you should be THEN asking for apologies instead of using words like "sweet homo".

But then dont get a beef on me either. I just want to tell the board that SOME optys will last a long time.

Marvin

Edit:
the damn cap and rotor that always goes out
This is a quote from your post using the link provided by Injuneer. I do remember someone talking about the Cam Dowel so fair is fair... if you could link to a post of yours explaining it otherwise would be nice.

No it's cool dude, I just get sick and tired of seeing stupid comment's and people get all butt hurt when I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE. There's been QUITE a few people PM me with problems to their car and took me like 2 seconds to figure them out. I see dude's on here with like TRIPLE the $hit that I have done to my car, and they are pulling times at the track that are almost TWO SECONDS from what I pull at the track, so I must be doing something right

Yea I was having MAJOR issue's with the opti and turned out IT WAS the dowel. I was chewing optis up every 200 miles OR LESS. Now I have been rolling with this one for over 3 months and have over 2500 miles on it.

HERE is the other thread were I had another opti blow up, cause I went thru like 3 of them within like a month

Lemme know if you need anymore help

Man...you have an ego the size of freaking Texas...

So if you're so smart, why didn't you trim the dowel pin the first time, instead of going through X-amount of optisparks?

And just curious, what exactly is done to your car that makes it so godly?

I have an ego the size of Texas., Why, cause I spend more time in the garage than you and know what my car can do

Why didn't I cut the dowel the first time, cause it wasn't SUPPOSED to be cut for 95+ car's, but you already knew that i'm sure

Don't worry bout what's done to my car.

When you can come up with a timeslip like MINE THEN MAYBE i'll swap secret's with you

Yep I remember that post..... I think that clears things up. Or at least that's what I believe.

Evidently some guys are sooo willing to go out of their way to discredit you and I don't know why, InjectedSS.

I just finished reading another post where some guy who once before came down hard on me for not contribuiting anything to the thread, making me look like a chimp.... has done the very same thing he condoned (correct spelling?)

Of course I could've made an azz out of my self and show the world how much of a chimp he is too (besides me) but then that would've reduced me to his level so said to my self I would leave it alone. Someone else is bound to tell him a thing or two cause he will make more mistakes like that again.

Now I believe these two threads (one posted by injuneer and one posted by InjectedSS) are of the same problem, I hope. It sure seems like it but I dont wanna say yeah and then have someone play the big power trip on me.

InjectedSS your post of the dowel pin could save me a lot of trouble when I change my opty in the future. I will be checking to see if the pin its in there too tight.

Thats all I am going to say.

Yea the two different threads were posted BY ME and they were within like a one moth period. Look at the date's. Like I said I went thru like 4 different opti's that month trying to figure out WTF was going on. The first one I just figured blew because of natural causes, the second one blew so I started to investigate, found out the dowel could have been causing the problem so I cut it down some. Then the 3rd blew cause I guess I didn't cut the dowel down long enough. Now i'm running on the fourth one for quite some time now Turned out to be the cam dowel after all.

The reason people wanna get all butt hurt at me is cause I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE. I've been there DONE THAT. I've been working on LT1's and LS1's for THREE YEARS STRAIGHT NON STOP pretty much EVERYDAY. So needless to say i've been thru A LOT.

I've tested A LOT of different thing's and I know what work's and what doesn't. I wanna buy what's BEST AND CHEAPEST! That way I have more and more money in my pocket for more mods

Why would I need to lie, these aren't my product's, im just trying to let people know what they are buying before they spend the money on something that they don't really know that much about..

I remeber when I bought the LTCC setup, I was soo excited. Then after getting it all on, the box didn't wanna work right, then I got it to work right but had an SES light and Bob (The guy who make's LTCC) said that running with the SES light would be ok Then having all that crap on the valve covers became such a hassle. Then turn's out all the cool features I had on my digital 6 box weren't on the LTCC, and the one's that were had LIMITED versatility.

See i'm not saying that the LTCC is a complete piece of crap, like I said before though, when there's something BETTER for CHEAPER, then why not go that route

Think about this. Have you ever bought something and then later on down the road something else came out and was better than what you orginally bought? Well you really wish you had the newer one but for whatever reason you can't so you keep trying to convince yourself that what you have is good enough etc. That's exactly how some of these fool's act on here sometime's. That's why I like going off cause it make's them mad cause they don't wanna face reality. Everytime someone ask's a question like "hey what's better this or this" I will post my experience if i've had both and then people that have whichever one i'm dissin on will go off about how it's really not that bad. When in reality they know the truth but just don't wanna face reality

So people just need to get a grip and not get all butt hurt when someone speak's the truth and know's wtf their saying. Don't worry about it dude say what you wanna say as long as you know wtf your saying

The thing I do not understand about you is why you come off like you know everything. I thought this board was designed so everyone can help one another not insult one another. It is great that you have installed alot of different parts on your car. You may have some experience with LT1's but remember there are others out there with more. I remember you posted a while back concerning a nasty oil leak coming from your oil pan and I replied to your post with the answer to your question. I do not remember coming off like an a-hole. There is also alot of people out there that work on their own cars. Alot of people out there that have had great experiences with their stock opti while other like myself have had crappy ones. I guess you should stick to what has been good for you. So catch your breath and relax. Do you have any videos of your car running down the strip?

"Ohh yes IDOXLR8, the LTCC is a great and wonderful product, you should buy two of them so when the first on break's you can have a spare ready to go" That pisses me off dude

Yea I have plenty of video's of my car on my computer, you wanna host them for me?

The reason I asked is because I currently own the LTCC box and wanted know what problems you encountered. I understand your experience with the LTCC box has not been great. That is not a reason to be pissed off.
