ls1 airbox on a lt1?

Has anyone tried to install a 98+ style camaro air box on a 93-97 camaro?
I was wondering if it would work since the newer style has more of a ram air affect that the lt1 style.
What are the differences in the two, radiator support?

It can be done but don't know exactly what you have to do since I have not done it. See pic.

I am the person who owns the yellow T/A in the pic . I used a throttle body rubber boot from a 94 corvette to hook the MAF to the TB and then the air box hooks right up to the MAF.

Yeah can ya belive I bought that car for 3500.00 out in Virginia. I rebuilt it. It was in a head on collision st 60 mph and the kid sold it with a clean title. I have 10,000 total in whole project.
