lowering the car...
Ok guys time for some help....I went and got the Eibach Sportline Spring and a set of 8 way adjustable KYB shocks...so I go to put them both on and after looking at the control arms on the front of the car I realize I need to put new bushings in everything so I pick up the Energy Suspension Master Bushing Kit...now the tough stuff. What more will I need to finish this lowering? I'm thinking once i get all the old bushings out of the old control arms and get them all cleaned up and painted I should be able to slap everything together and then get an alignment and be all set...any suggestions?

BMR relocation brackets.
A must have for lowered cars. You can get weld-in or bolt-in types. Weld-in is stronger and cheaper. Checkout my site at http://www.norcalstreet.com for pricing.
I would recommended ditching the stock control arms all together and get some aftermarket control arms as well.

problem is i recently lost my job due to an indefinate lay off so funds for the car a running out, do I need the relocation brackets in order to lower the car or will it be ok for a while if I just use the stock control arms and the shocks and springs? I really need to get the car running so I can drive it or sell it if times get any worse.

I think I'm in a similar situation. I just received some Jamex lowering springs in the mail today. I was looking at contol arms too, as my bushings are shot.
From what I understand, my process from now would be to install the springs, new control arms and relocation brackets? Is there a certain kind of control arm I should look at? I see there are static ones and some that are adjustable. I'm not going to do much more than daily driving and the occasional stoplight challenge for now.
Am I missing anything? I don't want to forget something important.

Adjustable ones are pretty much just for center the wheels. You can use the adjustments to gain optimal traction but gains would be minimal and that would be for only the most hard core dragster. Generally speaking you don't need them but when lowering your car an adjustable panhard bar may be needed to center the rearend. Relocation brackets I consider a must for any lowered car.

My original thought of looking at control arms is that the bushings are shot. I wasn't able to find the bushings separate from arms.
If you say I don't need new control arms, then what specifically should I get for my particular application?

Ok, rear control arm bushings. You have several options there.
1. New GM replacements (1LE bushings maybe)
2. Poly bushings both ends (not recommended)
3. Poly/Rod End not as bad
4. Rod End/Rod end now we're talkin' noise but fun
