Lower BALLJOINT replacemt (BMR lower a-arm specificaly)
Found out the BMR lower a-arms balljoints DO NOT come pregreased the hard way. now they are both shot.
Just wanted to know how these are replaced? i know they are pressed in, do i need to remove the a-arm completely and take it to a machine shop or to they make some kinda puller/presser deal that i can do it on the car? thanks people!!

You have to remove the struts and springs to get to the ball joints. I would take them to a shop and replace them.

i took my 2 hole months in texas, 9 alignments and 4 different shops to get mine done.
Dang sounds easier to pass a kidney stone!! I noticed a little crack on the lower a-arm rubber tat goes toward the back of the arm... I was thinking perfect time to replace with aftermaket ones but now after I read your post...
Any of you guys know a better solution?? I dont mind alignment once but twice?? and he said 9!!! why cant they be aligned just once?? those things do not stay put or what??

You can use a ball joint press to replace them. If you can rent or borrow a ball joint press the job is doable.
When I did mine a couple months ago, there were no places to rent the press so I had to buy one. The press cost $180
I know what you mean about the grease. I've noticed (almost) too late that they are not pre-packed with grease (still don't know why). So I loaded the hell out of them with Mobile 1's synthetic grease so I will hopefully never have to do it again. And they are a pain in the *** to align. Took took trips to an alignment shop, and 3 of us had to align it. I honestly do not think they are worth the money. Stock A-arms with poly bushings would have been better.
