low oil light sensor - wires came out, help fix!

While trying to get the oil filter off, my dad snapped the low oil light sensor wire(s) off. You would think it would be an easy fix by just splicing the wires back in, but they were pulled out of the sensor itself so I am wondering I can some how jab some wires in there to make a connection so I can pass emissions this month.

Any ideas? Are there two wires going into there, it looks like there might.

you probly need a new pigtail, that plug comes out of the sensor...if you can't get a pigtail a gm dealer should have a delphi connector box and they can take the plug apart and fix it for you

That shouldn't make you fail inspection unless it makes it throw a code, which i doubt it does. But if you really needed to get that light off I'm pretty sure you can just twist those two wires together. Definitely get that pigtail though. That light comes in handy.
