low coolant light, now?!?!?
OK guys, I haven't had my low coolant sensor connected in over a year without any problems. Well, today it came on.... I have no idea why it would come on. I was detailing my engine so I may have gotten something wet. But its not connected to anything, so why would it be reading something? Does anyone know if it can be disabled in TunerCat or by any other means?
Edit: I also wanted to add that the wire has been cut and taped, so I can't imagine that it is grounding out on anything. And all fuses are good.

I have the same thing I disconected also but from time to time it still lights on the dash, I did the same thing. I don't understand why it does it.

I disconnected mine when the sensor failed. I had a coolant leak later that I didn't notice. The engine temp was a little eratic, but never above the 3/4 mark. I overheated my motor and blew the head gaskets. I would suggest that the $50 sensor is worth the investment.
