Low coolant sensor on the passenger side of radiator is bad, Common problem, You can either unplug it or buy a new one.

I'd top off the radiator, burp the system and makes sure the over flow tank is 3/4 full. Then I would continue to monitor. A breach in a head gasket would consume coolant and not leave a puddle on the ground. As I suggested, I would monitor it after the refill before I jumped to any conclusions.

Well I found a leak in it, but not sure how to fix it. I drove for like 5 minutes, came home and opened the hood to find coolant leaking out from a hole under the thermostat. The hole is on the bottom of the housing for the thermostat. The hole also lookslike it is supposed to be there, but then why would coolant be leaking out of it?

And when I am stopped and start to drive, it feels like my power steering isnt working. Any thoughts on that one?

The sensor is also natorious for going. I don't really think you need it since you can tell if your low on coolent by your temp sensor. So pull out your speedo and yank the dummy light.

If the coolant is coming from this hole, then your waterpump is on it's way out. You should replace it before it completely dies and you have overheating problems.

Check the stat too! Friend of mine almost overheated on a 400 mile trip and it turned out the lower portion of the stat had frozen. His coolant light was always on until he fixed the stat. I had this issue intermittently on my SS as well, but after I purchased a new stat and a fan switch, the temp was great and I no longer received the light on the coolant level.

Its coming from that hole, but the part its on doesnt look quite like that one in your pic....its not that big. I could be wrong....since i dont even know where the water pump is.

And its not the thermostat. That thing is 6 months old, (160 degree) and I checked it out anyway and it looked fine. So I think its the water pump as Ram Air said.
