low coolant light?
low coolant light?
it came on but nothing is wrong afaik
me and my buddy drained my radiator about 2 months or more ago (couldnt get the block plugs so we said screw it)
but since then, everything has been fine
i drove it to school today and when i was driving back, it came on
nothing was wrong with the car though, every gauge was fine and the coolant temp was at an even 180 during both city and highway driving
i'm about to check on it when it cools down or after work
any thoughts on why it would come on?

Re: low coolant light?
Your sensor is probably clogged, its a common problem. You can either take it out and clean it, replace it or just do the simple solution, unplug the cable running to it. If you unplug it you wont throw a code.
I just unplugged mine this summer.

That sensor is known to go bad after a while. You might fix it by cleaning it, or you may not. Mine was doing the same thing, coolant level was fine. I cleaned it, but it still comes on after a couple of minutes of driving. I have a new one, but haven't had time to put in. I think it's about $16 from Jason Cromer...

i plan on doing a full coolant flush probably before winter (radiator and block plugs) so i guess i might clean it when i do it
