low antifreeze??? water in oil???

let my car sit through winter and forgot to check the antifreeze mix... had water and antifreeze mixed, but have no idea what it was... now after running it have milky oil.... could i have frozen the block and cracked a head or warped them or something??? headgasket??? at first it was fine but after a couple days noticed a little white smoke once in a while out of exhaust and can smell the antifreeze.... wouldnt a freeze plug pop before the block would crack if that was the case?? no leaks or anything... pulling it apart to replace heads and cam... any ideas????

thanks
jeremy

Sounds like one of the head gaskets.

Sounds like it to me.
And from what I have read, the term "freeze plug" is incorrect, they weren't put there for that purpose. The are called "expansion plugs" but they are really just holes left by the casting process which are then plugged.
