loudmouth suggestions????

anyone with a 93-95 lt1 had this problem?? i ordered my loudmouth catback along with the extra s-pipe adapter (pn 30045). here's the thing, i also am updating to an off-road y and longtube headers. the s-pipe comes with a ball flanged end to hook up to the y, the pacesetter y pipe is not set-up to recieve it. what do i do? anyone got any pics of the connection that is required? thanks!!

If you got headers and an orp, I wouldnt think that you would need the adaptor. Off road y-pipes would be the same for any LT1 car, and therefore I would expect your exhaust to bolt right up. I have a '96, but by Pacesetter y-pipe bolted right to my SLP loudmouth before I got rid of it due to the overly loud exhuast. Have you actually tried fitting them or just thinking ahead?

You wont use the S on the LTs... it should be pretty close if not just bolt right up, or else a small bit of fabrication will need to be done. Good luck.

because you have a single cat car, you'll need to take it to the muffler shop.

I have a Borla on my 95' and had the same issue. Dual cat cars 96/7 require little if any modification but the single cat cars require some fabrication.

I actually used a set of 3.5 inch collectors on mine as a joint so the exhaust could be remove in pieces if need be. I highly recommend it.
