Loudmouth and no cat, anyone
Loudmouth and no cat, anyone
Hey all. I currently have the stock exuahst on my 1994 TA (1 CAT & gutted). I LOVE how my friends 1996 Formula WS6 (2 cats) sounds with the loudmouth. I currently have my cat gutted in my car. Exhaust sounds nice, ok power. But looking for more. If I put the loudmouth on my car without my cat, will it be totaly to loud? Has anyone heard a LT1 with the 1 cat, or 2 cat setup gutted with a Loudmouth? Post away.
I am not sure about loudmouth, but my cut-out with no cats sounds meen as hell. It is probebly too loud for most people but I love it. I have had this setup for over a year and never got pulled over for it. Even when I get pulled over they dont mention it. It does get raspy at high rpms but its not that bad. Maybe you should think of getting a cut out becuase that way you can always cap it if you dont like it.

I have a set of hooker long tubes, with a custom y-pipe (2 1/2 inch piping) into a three inch intermediate pipe. from there it goes over the axle, and splits into two 2 1/2 inch pipes out through a set of dual tips. It is really loud. I have a video of it, but I will have to find it so I can post it. It is at the track, so there is a nice burn out, and then a run down the track. I will get it up for you ASAP!!
I had stock manifolds, gutted cat, and loudmouth...was loud, raspy, but good.
Now I have headers, offroad pipe, and loudmouth...louder, still raspy, and even better. Now I just need a nice lumpy cam and I can scare small children
heh...actually I do that now...a while back I was drivin through my neighborhood, goin easy on the throttle, and drove past some 7 or 8 year old kid holding a soccer ball. He dropped his ball, clamped his hands over his ears, and almost fell over
