Question loudmouth interior sound levels

hey guys, i just sold my 94 Z28 A4 which had a electronic cutout and im looking to puchase another Z28 but M6 and am debating over what exhaust to get. i had basically narrowed down to Loudmouth or hooker. i just wanted to see if anyone here who has the loudmouth could comment on its interior sound level. as much as i liked the sound of the cutout, it was horribly bassy inside and caused lots of rattles (i had it coming out right before the rear axle) i don't mind hearing the exhaust but to a certain point it just was making my interior not comfortable to drive in. thanks for any help.

I have the loudmouth for over 2 years. It has the 2000 rpm drone. And a few rattles at low rpm. I just changed the resonator to a dynomax race bullet and the drone is gone. And far less cackling

when you say a few rattles at low rpms, does that imply the rattle of interior parts? also has anyone here heard and/or had hooker and loudmouth and how do they compare? i know this topic has been brought up a lot but its still sorta a crap shoot until you basically buy it.

If you still have manifolds, Hooker is nice. You can hear mine at idle in my sig.

I have no cat on mine anymore, so at about 3k it "cackles" but it's a nice cackle. You'll enjoy Hooker if you get it. Especially with no cat. With and without cat is a night and day difference in tone and volume.

I would suggest getting true Duals If its something you could deal. If not Im a fan of the Loud mouth but changing the resonator will be a good Idea to cut down on the drone.

i think my mind is set on the loudmouth but is it truly necessary to pay like $70 or so bucks extra for the installation kit for single cat LT1's?

NO
Just use your stock pipe and cut it off after the S curve somewhere, then trim it down when you get the LM on so it will fit nicely. No need to spend the extra $70.

I did notice once i got the headers it is louder up top and a little higher pitched above 3500 but i really like how it sounds.. has a nice mean idle to it.... Ill post some sound clips onces the heads and cam are done...

I love my LM, picked it up cheap too, it is loud with the top down, but windows up and top up with some music playing you cant hear it when you are just cruising, but if you give it gas all hell breaks loose . I am switing to 3.42 from 2.73 so i am sure high way cruising will get even louder. If you dont plan on doing many mods to the car the LM is the way to go.
