Loudmouth

That thing is loud! I installed my loudmouth lastnight and went for a spin to listen for leaks. I had a hard time finding a leak. haha. All I could hear was the rumble and roar of this thing. I do have bbk shorties so that might add to the loudness. I love the sound. Although a little worryed about a ticket. But ill just worry about that when it comes. One thing i must say though. Some people had said the sound of a loudmouth is unrefined. Really it isnt as "unrefined" as was told. Maby just at WOT. Ive read that some of you guys with loudmouths put bullets in them. How do they differ from whats already on there?

bullets act like mufflers, if the sound is to much for ya, take out the resonator and install the bullet, it will quite it down somewhat

depends on the mods on your car too. SLP designed the LM to sound and perfrom like a champ on a basically stock LS1 car.

I've got a Dynomax Bullet on mine and it's not too loud at all inside but I've been told that it's somewhat loud outside. It's almost as loud as a LM since my friend use to have one on his 97 SS. But I like mine, picked up so much on top end and I don't have that humming sound like it did when I had the Flowmaster. Are you still running cats or headers?

Sorry man i dont have the stuff to make a sound clip. But one thing ive noticed is that in person the system sounds differnt than on clips.

Yeah i still have my shortys on there along with the cats. I dont think ill put the bullet on anytime soon. I love the sound to much to tame it. Maby when i get a fix it ticket. haha.

Yeah the car seems to have a little more pep when i go to pass soneone on the freeway.
