There may have been some lost power due to a loss of compression, but I doubt you did any serious damage. Tighten them up and see how it runs.

Its doubtful it hurt anything. I don't think the plugs loosen up so much, but a lot of tools people use don't fit down in the tight recess around an LT1's plugs. They may feel tight with one tool, but use a thinner wall socket and you can usually get them a little tighter.

if its not taken care of soon though, the plugs CAN tear the threads out of the head. Ask me how i know

I never have the plugs come loose. I suspect you guys are not getting them tight like SSJoe said. Take some time to find a tool that works. I have a bent wrench for some plugs. Note most plug sockets have wrench flats on them that can help. Those cheap sheet metal plug wrenches like you get with snowmobiles, dirt bikes, etc are real thin and can be turned with a wrench or a screwdriver stuck through the holes, too. About $2 and can be cut to required length, then drill new holes where you need them. Like this:

I use a lot of anti sieze. I usually have to retighten 3 or 4 plugs to get them to stay tight when I install a new set.
Don't want to tighten them too much and strip the threads.
