Looking for Valvetrain Kit..

Alright, so I have a mild lifter tick. So obviously I need to replace those, but while I'm in there I might as well get springs and rockers and such right?

The work will be done by a seasoned mechanic with me pretty much watching and learning, he's an awesome friend of mine. What I need to know is if there is a kit available that has everything I'll need, since I KNOW i'm missing some stuff. So what is all involved, I'm going to still be using stock heads and cam for now so are 1.6RR's too much or just right?

If anyone knows if there is a kit available from cmotorsports or summit or somewhere else lemme know, I would like to keep the price reasonable but I know this stuff isn't exactly cheap and can budget accordingly.

Help me out guys, what do I need?

Ryan

the LT4 hotcam kit has it all, I don't know if you want a cam though.

I think there might be a LT4 Kit with Springs and Rockers and so on. Do a search on that.

Is the hotcam capable of passing smog tests in CA? If it is then it's worth checking out fr sure.

Re: Looking for Valvetrain Kit..

Thanks for the replies, but I'm more or less just looking for the springs, rockers, lifters, seals, whatever else I may need to freshen up the valvetrain. Anyone know anything along those lines?
