"Carmasters" on Diamond Springs/ Newtown rd.The owner is Ret. Navy and they all are ASE Cert, with f-body experience. They have worked on my car, and a few other members with good results.

Also, "Zepher" is a member here, in Norfolk and can probably help you out........jus a lil local knowledge...

Yes, they are. The owner's a buddy of mine and does all the work, that I can't get to, on both my vehicles.

excellent , im about a week or two from either replacing my opti or getting a delteq. If this isnt the problem (over 100k miles I dont mind replacing opti) , I give up , im tired of troubleshooting this car. Oh yeah , god I want a Tony's Hotdog !!!

Question: If I get gears and other bolt-ons for my car, and I'm not comfortable installing them myself, do those guys do that stuff? I've been looking for a reputable place that I can trust with my Camaro around this area, and so far I haven't had much luck. I'm in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Are those guys in Norfolk worth the 2 hour trip down there?

Hey thanks alot! I will be giving them a call. If there is specifically a good place in Hampton that would be better so I could actually drive my car there, VA Beach is a bit far with the way its been acting. I think my computer is having probs :-(

If you want I can take a look at it and even scan it. I have a John Deere shop in Hampton. Just be sure to give me some notice that you are coming.

It's on Mercury Blvd right by Big Bethel Rd.

Oh yeah, it won't cost you anything either. The least I can do for you military guys.

Yeah, they did my gears. They can't reprogram your pcm, though.
There's got to be a good shop up that way, though. 2 hours is a long drive to go to a mechanic.

Hopefully there is....I haven't exactly been looking hard, but I figure there HAS to be some kind of race shop up in northern VA....Fairfax, Arlington, Manassas.....that's not a bad drive at all.

Thank you so much! I'll be giving you a call in the next day or so. I just got it back from the shop on base, they put on the last spark plug wire that I couldnt do myself and its running a bit better, though its still pretty rough. If there is a good time for me to bring it in feel free to call my cell anytime (757) 813-0114. Thanks for supporting us troops as well :-)
