looking for low priced springs NOW
i need to buy some valve springs locks reatiners etc. for my 95 trans am, i just purchased comp pro mag 1.6 roller rockers and rods and i know stock springs are only good up until .490..can someone point me in the direction of a cheap kit? will combination motorsports 612 springs work for me? links would be very helpful thank you all
Re: looking for low priced springs NOW
I have a set of Isky 235-D springs, Comp titanium retainers, super
locks, and L98 spring seats. It's all new and I'll sell it for 50% of
what I paid. This would be a good upgrade if you are planning a
cam change in the future and the springs will support up to .550
lift. I'll break it up too if you just want certain components.
You did not say if the rockers are SA or NSA, but if they are NSA
be sure to buy hardened pushrods and only the GMPP guideplates.

Re: looking for low priced springs NOW
you shouldnt have any problems running 1.6 rockers on stock springs. if you want the peace of mind, check out a set of LT4 springs. I believe theyre good to .525 lift and you can find a brand new set as low as $40 if you look around.
