Looking for low 12's...cc306 only?
What all would I need to run low 12s with a cc 306 equiped 95 LT1 powered T/A with a T56. Also would slicks be necessary because I really would like to run the number on the stock rear end with a girdle. The current mods that it has now are uncoated pacesetters with emissions fittings, pacesetter y pipe, stock cat back with no muffler (soon to be replaced with probally a Loud Mouth), TA Girdle, BMR sub frame connectors, Meizere Elec, WP, and a mad z28 tune. I didnt list the CC306 yet because I would like to try and install everything at once. I also have a set of front BMR Springs sitting around and if BMR's all around would help me then I will get some rears. Thanks
Also I know this has been asked a million times but I havent really been able to find a good answer, but what are a good set of 1.6 RR's, hardened push rods, springs, and a timing chain for an LT1 with a CC306 and a Elec, WP. Thanks, Brad

Re: Looking for low 12's...cc306 only?
Replace that catback with something better. Change the gears... I'd go with 4.11:1 with an M6. Get some drag radials. For suspension... at least get lower control arms and relocation brackets. Put on a set of CE drag shocks while you're at it. Springs aren't going to help anything... actually they'll probably hurt your hook-up unless you go with drag springs.
my recommendations:
Rockers-1.6 Comp Pro Mag, non-self aligning (I got 7/16 studs)
Push rods-Thunder Racing chromoly, hardened 7.2"
Springs-Call Comp and ask which springs they recommend for that cam.
Timing Chain-Since you got an elec. WP, go w/ a standard SBC Cloyes Double Roller
I just named off somewhere around $1500-$2000 worth of Shait... but... you will be in the 12's with the right tune.
