Looking at a lightweight battery, some questions...

I was just wondering what the CCA (cold cranking amp) is for a 95 LT1, if anybody could help me out i would much appreciate it. Thanks.

Anything that can give 400 amps can turn a starter just fine.

IMO,quite frankly I'd worry about other ways to lose weight before going that route, especially if its your daily driver.

I've heard way to many people bitch about them losing there charge to quickly, not being able to turn over high compression motors (lt1) after being hot, and not lasting very long.

I use a odyssey lightweight battery 13.5 lbs and just swap it in at the track. Saves me about 26 lbs over my optima battery and about 20 pounds over my stocker. I wouldnt reccomend it for everyday driving, but some do use it. You can get them on ebay for about 55 bucks.
