Looking into the XFI 292
#5
I'm running the Comp XFI-292 w/ 918 Beehives and 1.6RRs in my 396 stroker. I don't have any sound-tracks, but I do have many low 11 second time slips (all N/A)! Basically, the cam sounds like a full race cam. However, the XFI-292's performance for me is the real issue and it is outstanding!

Hey Engineer, do you street drive your car? I was looking at your webpage and see you still have the stock 10 bolt rear and figured that you were taking it easy on the rear was the reason the car wasn't faster. I just pulled a 355 out of my 3400 racecar that would run 7.00's all day long and it didn't have quite the power you think your 396 has. I don't want to think I'm talking smack, I'm not, I just like to see things reach there potential and your car has alot left in it. A 12 bolt and some harder launches should put you soildly in the 11.0's, your making the power. Good luck.
