Im looking at a 94 Camaro Z28 soon, and I was wondering if you guys have any advice on what to look for on the car? And what a good price for it would be?

Thanks

Last December I bought a 94z for $4600, they were originally asking $5800. 92k miles, needed new tires, thats about it.

I suggest you look around autotrader.com to get a good idea of how much to spend.

Oct 2001 bought my 94 for 4995. Had small problems. Never been wrecked. Look at the title before you agree to anything to see if it's ever been salvadged. Look at the front tire wear and front susp. components to see if any damage causing alignment problems.

Pull the dipstick to check for water in the oil. If cold check the water level in the overflow as well as the radiator. Try everything in the cockpit especially the heat and air conditioning even if you have to wait for the car to heat up. Let it heat up till the fan(s) come on. After the engine heats up check the level and condition of the tranny fluid if its automatic. Be sure it's not dark or smells burnt.

Take it for a spin to be sure there are no flat spots or hesitations at both extremes. Try the brakes and the e-brake. Just my .02

Good luck
