Lookin for some good help guys

Well summer is just around the corner and I have my 93Z parked at the moment. She has a few mods (K&N, headers, catback, short-throw) and I'm lookin to get a bunch of work done very soon. Mileage is high (173k km's) so I'm trying to decide which way to go, I've got about 7-8k to work with. Here's what things I have going around in my head: heads/cam/intake/clutch/gears and a rebuilt motor most importantly. With the mileage the car has I just hate the feeling of having things ready to go out on her. Last year I replaced the water pump, and radiator, and I know it needs a power steering pump, clutch, head gaskets.

I'm just lookin for some suggestions from some of you who have likely done this before.

Thanks.

With that much $, I'd opt for a performance crate. JMHO

What kind of goals do you have for the car? A top end with all the goodies along with a good rebuilt shortblock will easily clear up most of your budget depending what route you go.

befor tearing into that motor, i would definatly work on your suspension alittle, like some subframe connectors, lca's, torque arm. if i was in your shoes i would also pick up a 12 bolt. you dont want to have a bada$$ engine, without all the other complementing mods, and you definatly dont want to get stuck with that junk 10 bolt. if you allready do have most of this stuff done and you just wanna do an engine, check out www.golenengineservice.com, Chad Golen is a really good guy and he does good work.
