im lookin for a intake that is for a 93 z28 i want to put a throttle body larger than a 58mm ..where and who make a aftermarket intake, or where can i get a custom intake at

 

You can open up the LT1 intake to accept a 1300cfm monoblade. How large do you want to go?

 

You can't punch an LT1 to enough cubes to need more then a 58mm, or maybe a 58mm monoblade. Why would you want to run larger?

Not many other style TB's flow more then a 58mm monoblade anyway...they already outflow 90mm FAST TB's. You can run the huge 95mm+ single blade LS1 style TBs like from Wilsons, but you would need a custom elbow like the 860 on top of a single plane.

If you really feel the need for cfms for some strange reason, you can throw an accufab 4500 4-barrel right on the flange of a converted single plane and have 2k CFMs worth of useless airflow.

 

If you explain why you want a larger throttle body then that (or even if one that large is nessasary), you will probly get a better answer.

 

You can port a stock manifold to handle a 58mm if you want to.
People generally do that kind of thing while it's off for an H/C install.
(port the intake to match the head portwork and get it to flow a little better)

As mentioned above, there's no real benefit to running a 58mm on a stock, or even a bolt-on motor.
