Longtubes and X-pipe

I already have a set of Hooker longtube's (jethot) just waiting to be installed. I am doing these myself and wanted to put on the true dual exhaust. A local speed shop quoted my at $375 for pipes off the headers, x-pipe and two mufflers(proably bullet's. This is parts and labor, all custom pipes. Now if I order the Dr.gas kit which is about $200 dollars http://www.drgas.com/street-cat.html which comes with pipes and x pipe what all is need to install this. Can It be done with clamps or do i need to weld. I this that hard to do. Also if I dont go this route and just but on a y-pipe untill I save for the custom duals where is a cheap place to get one because he quoted $180 installed.
Thanks

$375 really isn't bad for true duals including parts and labor, I'd go ahead and do that. If you were to try to install it yourself, you'd probably need a welder and something to bend the pipes since I don't think everything would line up perfectly.

i got an H pipe and two bullets for about 100 bucks then i took it to an exhaust shop and they hooked me up for 150. thats cheaper than doing a y and a cat back. im sure you can find a better deal on the true duals if yuou shop around a bit

like the others said, that price for the duals isnt bad if it includes the pipes and mufflers. im sure you can find cheaper with enough legwork, but i know i had trouble finding a shop that would even touch my setup, so it might just be easier to go with those guys.
