Longtubes on a lowered car?

Does anyone know of any longtube headers that won't have any problems on a lowered 97 Z28 that don't cost an arm and leg?

i have hooker LTs with an Eibach Pro-kit. There are a few pics in my sig that show the clearence. It is about 2.5" from the flange to the ground.

How is the car lowered, I was thinking it might work better with QA1's coil overs.

FLP (finsih line performance)

I have lower car ans them and have never craped the long tubes. Yes you have to watch out when you go over certain spots but still have not dottomed out. Hit my torque arm (spohn) mount more then the long tubes.

They are a bit pricey but you get cats and are emissions legal. Also the cats can be switched out within 5 minutes to off raod pipes, so Love them

Matt,
How much does the Pro Kit lower the car. I am about to drop mine 1.75", I really want the long tubes but I am so afraid of scraping. How much did it run you to get you duals done, what kind of mufflers are you running? Do the mufflers sit lower than the flange of the headers, they look like it. Did you notice a performance gain with the duals, I hear most people don't. How about the sound quality?

My car is also lowered with the prokit. I went with SLP midlengths, but since i ended up going with egr! and air! anyways I wish i would have gotten TPIS longtubes. Supposedly no loss of clearance. FLP's/dynatechs lose a lil clearance, not as much as the hookers/jet-hots though.

I have the JetHot LT's with Eibach pro kit. If you are worried about ground clearance don't go with this combo. I have maybe 2" clearance at the collector, which is not much. I would not want to daily drive a car with this kind of clearance. Speed bumps are impossible. Drive into a subdivision with them and you will want to park the car and go house to house beating the living daylights out of anyone who claims to have voted for the blasted things when their neighborhood association put them in.

the pro kit dropped the car about 1.75". I had a custom x-pipe with two 18" bullet mufflers. The turndown on the mufflers sits at the same height as the bottom of the flange on the collector. It sounds awesome, everyone that hears it says so as well. I could really feel the car pull a lot stronger at the top end. The car would kind of flatten out up top with the manifolds, not it pulls hard all the way to the redline.

clearance on the street is only an issue over speed bumps and terrible roads with massive potholes, or very bumpy roads where your suspension compresses and reduces clearance even more...
