Which Longtubes???

Hey everyone! Looking to replace my groty;s with some other longtubes with and off-road y-pipe. I am looking at the Kooks, Pacesetter, and Hooker. Kinda torn b/c i want the kooks stepped headers but i have the canton pan so will i be able to get the oil filter off?? Also will there be clearance issues with the steering shaft as most people have? Wouldn't mind getting pacesetters but it seems that the flanges aren't the best and also i have seen clearance issues with the y-pipe hitting the floor and torque arm, not helping the situation i have poly motor mounts which raise my motor a lil more too. Any help is appreciated as i am just looking for the most trouble free install. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!

Look at the LPP... they're on LS1Tech. They're a killer deal.

Ive just ordered pacesetters LT's with the off road ypipe, lol i dont know why. I had there shorties on my past camaro and they were horrible fit and finish but i heard many good things about there LT's so im gonna give it a try and do alot of praying. Hopefully with the tune, no cats and exhuast cut out i can pick up 10-12rwhp buy putting on these LT's.

my vote for the Hookers only problem is the clearance with poly's at the crossmember. fits great everywhere else and plugs arent that bad either. The back two on the pass side go from underneath and pulling starter. everything else is just dandy!

I too say head to ls1tech in the lt1 section and check out the lpp headers, 321 stainless, stepped, and only 550 shipped for headers and y.

i have pacesetters with the y pipe totally awesome. car is lowered and hardly ever bottoms out give you nice top end too. change the plugs and wire too if your gonna do headers.

I have Pacesetter LTs, pro kit, and a canton oil pan and have no problems at all. The clamps scrape over some speed bumps with 2-3 people in the car and that's about it.

I'm not worried about ground clearance i'm more worried about the pacesetter hitting the floor pan or the torque arm
