I know where I can get some uncoated Pacesetter LT's w/ no emissions for cheap (used). Only problem is the guy had welded glasspacks right off the headers, and then cut them off, with jagged cuts at the collecter. Would it be worth it for the right price to buy em, and fix them up and then coat em?

Re: Longtubes

It depends on how cheap cheap is. Im getting my Pacesetter uncoated headers coated in about a week for $180. If you have access to a good shop or have your own tools you could just recut a smoother cut and then grind them down to make it look good.

Re: Longtubes

If you had to get a Y-pipe made then I dont see it costing another $30 to throw on some exhaust flanges.

Re: Longtubes

Well I bought the LT's and unmolested y-pipe for 100 dollars, couldn't pass it up. The collecters arent in as bad of shape as I thought... I should be able to weld up some more and fix it up, and I will have exhaust flanges welded on. I also bought heads, intake, lt4 valvesprings, and the gmpp roller rockers for 300 dollars from the same guy.
