Long Tubes Questions
Long Tubes Questions
Hello everyone, I just picked up a 1997 Camaro z-28 with a CAI,cutout, TB bypass, airfoil, and Edelbrock cat-back already installed and the mod bug is already getting me. I want to begin by adding a pair of long tube headers. My question is if there is a brand of long tubes that provide provisions for AIR and EGR and will I still have good ground clearance ( I dont plan on dropping the suspension). I researched the Jet Hots and they claimed that they provided all emissions fittings but I wanted to be sure before sending away 500.00 bucks of hard earned money. Thanks in advance.
Re: Long Tubes Questions
Kook's are one of the better headers on the market though I think they only make a race version i.e. no air or egr. I've got pacesetter's. Very reasonably priced, they have AIR and EGR provisions and you can get headers and a y-pipe for $500 or a little over for coated.

Re: Long Tubes Questions
I have the Pacesetter LT's as well, I picked mine up from an ebay store for like 259(black) and 120 for the Y-pipe + OR pipe they do have fittings for AIR and EGR.. now for some reason the fitting that came with my headers didn't wanna work with my EGR... so I don't have EGR anymore... hmm just a capped fitting on my headers
Re: Long Tubes Questions
I have the Jet Hot LT's with the EGR and AIR fittings. They are really great headers, and for the price, they cant be beat. Plus theyre already coated with the best stuff on the market. I got mine directly from jet hot for 535 plus shipping, and it doesnt cost any extra to get the extra emissions fittings. If you have any other questions, just email me, ill help ya with anything i can.
