My Hooker Long Tubes scrape on enough things as it is and I am stock height. I couldn't even imagine how much they would scrape with 2" less clearance.

I have my car lowered with the sportline springs and have Jet Hot long tubes and have no problems at all. Granted you will scrape a little on speed bumps, avoid them

Also, keep in mind that roads in Utah (where I live) really suck. So if the area that you are normally driving has decent roads, you might have better luck than I do with your long tubes.

I have JET HOT's and Hotchkis springs. I don't have any problems with it. You really just have to pay attention what you are doing and you won't have any problems.

Wow, I can't imagine jet hot's and 2 inches less of ground clearance. I already scrape and if I have passengers I scrape on everything, no matter what angle.

I have Hooker Logtubes and Eibach Sportlines. I scrape the driver's side collector flange and the y-pipe once in a while, but that's no big deal. I have no regrets. There are some pictures of the ground clearance of my car in my signature.

sportlines, lowered 2 1/4" jet hot long tubes. 4" y pipe. headers are your least worries, you have to pick the right y-pipe, mine is tore up. but NOT go over any speed bumps!!

Thanks for the all the replies my roads are ok around here i don't drive the car that much bought it new in 97 and it only has 24k on it and that was from the first 2 years. i sold my racecar and want to do some other bolts on to my SS now and headers are going to be the first i think!!

I just had a local exhaust shop fab up a custom y-pipe. Best $80 I ever spent.

FLP's have the best clearance by far, heck better then some shorties with Y-pipe, the headers will never touch, but the Y-pipe might, I got over almost all speed bumps & I'm lowered 1.8", I never scrape, the FLPs tuck up really nicely, you have to remove your oil cooler though because the FLPs tuck up so nicely the oil cooler is in the way.

Here's the clearance wth my TPiS Longtubes.

I believe the Pacesetters have similar clearance at 1/2 the price of the TPiS's.

Jet-hots and lowered car. 2 1/2 inch collector clearance. 2 inch driver's side y-pipe clearance ( goes down to clear tranny xmember). It's all about where you can and CANT go. Know that, and you'll be set. I dont have any issues, but I plan to swap to only a 1 inch drop for ease of getting around.
