Long tube question

I see that long tubes move the o2 sensors down further. When you buy long tubes (Pacesetters) do they come with extension wire?

Re: Long tube question

yep.........finally did mine last weekend. with the pacesetters they'll send a bundle of wire, connectors and sleeving. you will have to cut, splice and crimp tho.

Re: Long tube question

Thanks for replying. So tell me -- how was the install and more importantly how was the performance boost ?! Did you go with a y pipe or do true duals?

Re: Long tube question

Pacesetter supplies a wire extension kit but it may be safer and easier just to buy 02 harness extensions and simply plug and play. The install was moderately difficult if I had to rate it and with the off-road y-pipe mated up to the long tubes, it still made a seat of the pants difference.

Re: Long tube question

I have just decided to go with the mids -- that way i dont have to change much of the exhaust. Thanks for your replies!
