After my Jet hot long tube install and custom 3 inch ypipe install something has been hitting underneath the car. I can feel it through the floor board and pedals. It happens under 1/2 throttle or above from a dead stop.. I think i've also felt it power shifting into 2nd before...

I notice the y pipe is about an 1nch away from the transmission cross member and my friend said that his Jet hots were awefully close to the A arm.

Any ideas on what its hitting or what to look for before i jack her up.

 

On mine w/lt's my driver side cat or part of the pipe was hitting the front tranny crossmember, but only on hard acceleration when it was shifting. I think i just got used to it because i dont notice it anymore.

 

check your motor mounts they might be allowing the engine to roll over a little too much enablingthe y pipe to hit..
