Which Locks for these Bee Hive Springs ?

I will be getting these Comp Bee Hive valve springs. Part Number: 26918-16

I wanted to get Comp 10* Locks, however I dont know which ones to order???

The springs are 1.290" O.D., and the only 1.290 Locks that they had on Jegs were for LS1's are their oly available in 7* and are like 150$.

I know there are people on here with same springs running 10* locks and retainers, so which ones are you all using?

Thank you

It's been driving me insane trying to figure this out, cause it says only to use them, and their for a larger spring OD than the Bee Hives. You are running the same Bee Hives as I will be getting right? The Part Number is 26918-16

Call Comp and get the CORRECT retainers and keepers for the springs. That is nothing to play with and getting the wrong stuff. Can cost ya 2 heads and an engine.
There is a rumor about 10* locks that they pinch the tip off of the valve and drop the valve.
That's only with titanium valves that have a steel tip and 900-1000lbs of spring pressure. When ya get to this point ya use 7*.

I didn't say anything about what ya gave him,now did I.

I am trying to encourage him to get the RIGHT stuff. If your numbers are correct,so be it --but he can double check and see so he does get the right stuff.

..Oh..it just sounded(or n this case looked like) thats what you were saying. But yes they are the right parts unless he wants to go with titanium hardware then they would be the wrong stuff. Those are for the steel parts.

The CORRECT parts could be what ya gave him or something else, don't know.Didn't read your post. I do know that ya don't try to save money on retainers and keepers-- they WILL cost ya an engine if they are wrong or cheap stuff.
