I spoke with Lloyd this morning from his Mothers bedside in the hospital. He said things do not look good. She has been fighting cancer for a while and Lloyd hinted around that this might be her last day or days.

Yikes, I couldn't imagine. My best wishes to Lloyds mother and the family during these times.

 

I talked to Lloyd earlier this week and heard the same news. It sounds like he is going to take it week by week and see how his mom does and if he ports heads or not. I know he is currently not working on heads. My prayers go out for Lloyd and his family. I wish them the best of luck.

 

No wonder I can't get ahold of him. I feel horrible for him. I keep bothering him about my heads. I will keep him and his mom in my prayers.

 

Never met Lloyd personally but talked to only through e-mail, havent heard one bad thing about the man and all i can say is You guys will be in our thoughts and in our prayers.

Lloyd's mother has been doing bad for quite awhile. He quit taking porting orders a little while ago and is giving all his time for her.

As for this thread, I didn't see it as necessary. Simply stating that he's having a faimly emergency would suffice. Plus there have been quite a few other threads concerning the matter...

 

As for this thread not being necessary; the reason I posted it was for prayer for Lloyd and his family. Lloyd and his family are Christan and has requested prayer. I did not want to come right out and say 'pray for Lloyd and his family' but most of the people that responded to this post did in fact know to pray for his mom and family. Being specific is how prayer works best. GOD listens to our prayers and response with: "YES" , "NO", "WAIT".

If you disagree, pick up your bible and start reading.

Oh, and I don't spend a lot of time on this board except for searching tech. information. Note my posting number and my date of membership.

 

Last I heard, Lloyd was back porting heads. I did not get specifics on his mon, But I know he was porting a week ago.

My comments had absolutely nothing to do with Christianity or beliefs. I just feel that I would have been SUFFICIENT to say 'Lloyd is having a family emergency' Prayers or whatever else can be had for such... Being as specific as you were in stating that his mother was on her death bed was unnecessary...you being a devout Christian, as Im sure you are, should know this...

 

Well.. actually.. Lloyd's mom passed away a few weeks ago.

But when I last saw him, ended up getting an LE2 cam "hand delivered ", he was in good spirits.

 

I'll be sure to offer up a prayer tonight for her. I've been happy to be a customer of Lloyd and he has always been polite and gracious in his time and cust. service.

She must have done something right raising him

 

I spoke with Lloyd last night and he was in good spirits and yes his mom did pass away. He gave me some insite on a parent's death and how hospice (SP?) helped out his family. My mom is 85 and declining in health also. Most of us will experience this during our life time. I am not looking foward to this in the least.
