Thumbs up Lloyd Elliott does it again!!!

Well, my boss is looking for a fun street car with full spool in the 2600-2800rpm range. He only plans to run 8-10psi intercooled in his 67 camaro. The T74 was the smallest I recommended for spool time. He just got his flow #'s for his Dart Pro 1 heads he is going to use on the 383. Lloyd Elliott ported them BTW...

237 cc intake port
74 cc chambers

Flow #'s are . . . . .

.2......142/105
.3......199/145
.4......248/175
.5......281/202
.6......302/217
.650...314/226
.7......317/229

2.08/1.625 Ferrea 6000 series valves
Comp 26120 big bee hive springs
Titanium retainers
10 degree locks
spring locators

Once again, Lloyd does a great job at a great price.

Does Mr Elliott have a site?
Do you have to get your heads ported for a certain cam? Or can heads just get ported to be ported? What I mean is-- do the numbers the heads flow need to match with cam specs/crank specs/cfm?

www.eportworks.com

nighttrain66@msn.com is his email

Typical you have the heads ported and the cam should be spec'd to the heads. You should specify forced induction or N/A.

Brian, I loved the cam and mine had a 114LSA. I suspect with a dyno tune I should have seen close to 390rwhp/360rwtq. The LE2 cam should be good for 400rwhp/370rwtq. Is the extra 10-15hp/tq worth the cost of a new cam? Perhaps…I don’t know if the LE2 cam will make more lowend, considering my tq curve was pretty damn flat.

I would call Bret Bauer and ask his opinon since he designed the cam.

Re: Lloyd Elliott does it again!!!

Riddle me this: I can understand getting big flow numbers out of aftermarket performance heads, but how much has anyone ever gotten out of stock heads? Just curious.

Lloyd typically gets mid to high 270's (185-195cfm on the exhaust). I believe his fastest stock bottom customer has gone 120mph in the 1/4.
