Little peeved with Jason Cromer Dealership

I bought a nonvented opti on Monday and it arrived wednesday. The opti was in a box with the drive pin. That's it. No packaging, nothing. One of the plastic cylinders that cover the terminal had broken off due to crappy shipping. Nothing a little epoxy can't fix but damn how hard is it to wrap it up?

You should be contacting them for replacement.

i live by the shop. i gotta go in tomorrow to pick up a new wire pigtail. ill bring this up with them (casually). i'm sure if you had talked to jason though, he would have been more than willing to help.

edit: i was in there a few weeks ago and they got some new help working there. maybe one of those guys did the packaging.

Would you mind bringing it up and seeing if they would compensate me somehow or something? If not thats cool but I'm not going to have time to call them today.

I am kinda disappointed with them too.

I checked pricing on several items recently and Dal was significantly cheaper. I checked the prices because I bought a pair of o2s and they weren't any cheaper than gmpartsdirect which was weird because they were always lower.

That besides a number of small order screw-ups. I'll order from Dal next time.

I ordered an opti and WP a couple weeks ago too and both were just in the box, no packing or anything in there. I'm supprised nothing was broken in them. I'm definatly not ordering anything from jason cromer again because they just threw them in a box and shipped them.

I ordered an opti from them a couple yrs ago that was busted on arrival because of poor packing.. there was packing but not enough of it or over the critical areas like the plastic cap.

Sometimes they make a few errors, but he corrects the mistakes.

FYI my opti didn't come packaged either but it wasn't damaged.

Re: Little peeved with Jason Cromer Dealership

I recently bought a waterpump, LT4 starter and LT4 ED timing set from him.

First mistake- I was told the timing set was on backorder, and he'd send the pump and starter. I got two boxes, one was a starter, the other was a rear lense assembly for a Cadillac. I called him and told him what happened, he sent my waterpump right out, and there was no return label for the lense.

Mistake two- I called a few days later to see if the timing sets were back in stock and ready to ship yet. He said they just got in, and mine would be on the way that afternoon or the next day. It never showed up. So I called, he informed me that my card didn't go through (I had my card stolen, so it was canceled and I got another number) so he just didn't ship it out. I mean really, he had just spoken to me on the phone, when my card didn't go through how hard would it have been to pick the phone up and call me so I could get it sorted out?

His prices were higher than GMpartsdirect even after you factor in their outrageous shipping. I won't be ordering from him again.

Edit: my starter and pump had no packaging in the box whatsoever, they were just banging around in there.

I am not sure about pricing any more with them too. But they are cheaper than Scoggin Dickey as far as LT4 heads (x2 Assembled) and 1 LT4 intake manifold. Sam taylor is 100 bucks cheaper. But I thought they were even less before the main page changed....

For example, I am looking for x2 Lt4 Assembled heads (i wish i would find bare), and x1 Lt4 intake manifold. Here are the prices for Scoggin, Sam Taylor, and GM Parts Direct.

Scoggin

LT4 Head (Assembled)- 689.95 (each, and I need 2)
LT4 Intake Manifold- 246.95
Total- 1,626.85

Gm Parts Direct

LT4 Head (Assembled)- 650.00 (each)
LT4 Intake Manifold- 218.81
Total- 1,518.81

Sam Taylor- Did not get the break down

Total- 1,579.00

But in the past when I delt with GMPartsdirect.com I had to wait a LONG *** time for the parts to ship.

Re: Little peeved with Jason Cromer Dealership

I ordered a set of rubber washers for the coolant cross over tube and they didn't show up. After talking with them they forgot about the order and would get them out. They never did show up so i just had to reuse my old ones. I wasn't impressed.

lol. okay, i'm not going in telling them everyones story! but maybe i can bring up the fact that most people arent happy about the service lately.

Loadre, sorry man. if you need some sort of compensation, you'll have to call jason and explain to him what the deal is.
