List of things to have on hand for top end assembly and motor install
In the next few weeks I'll be dropping the motor back into my car and I was wondering if anyone could come up with some pointers for things to have on hand during the process. Some of it's obvious, like oil, coolant, tranny fluid, etc., but I want to make sure I cover all the bases so it goes as smoothly as possible. Here's what I have thought of so far:
-dino oil for break in - 5qts
-Dexron III ATF for T56 - 4qts
-coolant/water
-tube of "The Right Stuff" for intake manifold etc.
-plenty of oil dry for any spills
-dielectric grease for plugwires
-tube of thread sealant
-tube of antisieze

Gloves, Gojo, whatever happened to brake cleaner and gasoline?
Just kidding, looks like you have everything covered. I agree with the above, an extra set of hands would be of good benefit, especially when dropping the motor back into the bay.
