Lingenfelter 410 BHP

Anyone here know anyone who has taken their car to lingenfelter and did the $9100.00 410 BHP 350 package deal. Ive been looking into this and wanted some input. Plus a 24 Month/ 24,000 mile warranty isnt too bad.

$9000 is waaaaaaay too much for a 350. I don't think that price includes bolt ons like exhaust and headers etc.

All my bolt ons and 383 build up cost me $6000 and I'm pushing over 470hp at the motor.

Callaway does a package which turns your camaro into a "supernatural" that includes new engine and paint/body package for 15,000.00 that gives a little more horse then that package and also your camaro looks sweet afterwards.

ouch, only 410 bhp? A lot of us with just bolt ons and cams are in that range. my 343 with 15% loss puts me at 404 BHP. Marcin with the 306 put down 348 rwSAEHP and that would be exactly 410 BHP on the stock heads and shortblock. Altjar would also be there if he believed in dynos

I got to 404 bhp for easily LESS than 2k dollars by shopping smart and doing installs myself. I will do yours for 6k labor, 8k total I'll warrenty it too!

Seriously, I do like the idea of the warrenty, but you'd still have a lot of cash left over picking the stuff yourself. For 9000 you'd better be pushing well over 400 rwhp not bhp.

Lingenfelter packages cost so much because they are C.A.R.B approved and carry a warrenty. It takes a lot of money to have a combo CARB approved for resale and those expenses are passed on to the cosumer. That is also why some of Lingenfelter's packages show lower HP numbers than some expect. I am sure Lingenfelter has to give up HP to meet emission standards where the independant guy does not.

I know that this is an old topic but I just had the Lingenfelter LS1 350 pkg done to my car. It cost $6900 and I ended up with 453 hp at the fly and 433 lbs of torque.

I am sure the LPE packages are of the highest quality along with there warranty. sure one could get 400hp with bolt ons and a cam but it would not be as refined, legal or durable

That's pretty good #'s. Was that just from the LPE 350 package or was there other bolt-ons?

Lingenfelter is a bit pricy..been in there shop a few times and know some of the guys. nice being local Lingenfelter 15min away and Moser Eng. 15min the other direction.

Your paying alot for the name but when they do something they do it right the first time. Any Lingenfelter car i have seen for sale has always had a good resell value. I would say if you have the $ go for it!
