With some help from a friend I finally got around to installing the LPE CAI that I got off a fellow board member. It is awesome, fits great (no problem closing the hood), and even though the horsepower difference may be negligable, the throttle response is definately better, and who knows, maybe I did get the 12 HP that LPE advertises. Also descreened the MAF at the same time we did the install. that was probably the easiest thing I have ever done to the car, took about 5 seconds. I'm going to have to get her Dyno'd now to see what the real difference is.

Yea I got the same thing. It wrks fine. Lig makes good stuff, I got mine on sale so i was happy.

you probably did get around 8-12hp. That was my second pick on cai's. But i would of left the MAF screen there. It doesn't really help by removing it. Let us know how much power it made after you dyno.

 

On my 93 I had the Moroso, it was very well designed, my freind bought the LPE one when it came out and it was very good as well, they both perforemed about the same.
I have yet to see anything come from them that didnt work as advertised.
